A 99% delivery success rate doesn’t just happen
Earlier this year, Urbify’s CEO Dr. Benedikt Stolze took the stage at LogisticsTech Talks to share how we’re making last-mile delivery work better in dense, unpredictable cities.
The talk focused on what we’ve learned while building Urbify, from routing challenges to operational scale to what it really takes to hit a 99% delivery success rate.
What the event was all about
LogisticsTech Talks brought together founders, operators, and innovators to explore how tech is transforming supply chains and delivery and it was a room full of people who are trying to solve the same hard problems we are.
Ben shared a behind-the-scenes look at Urbify’s journey so far, including:
- The early decisions that shaped our model
- Why precision matters more than speed alone
- How we approach delivery in cities like Berlin and Hamburg
- What it takes to earn trust, one delivery at a time
It was honest. It was energizing. And it was a reminder that there’s no shortcut to consistency. You build it one process, one person, one parcel at a time.
Highlights and shoutouts
A big thank you to Philip John Mordecai for organizing the event and to Digital Hub Logistics & Commerce for hosting us.
We also loved reconnecting with our friends at RedCare, Marcel Kofi and Marvin Jäger, and learning from other speakers who are pushing boundaries in their fields:
- Lennart Paul on rethinking construction logistics
- Andreas Canel on how AI is shaping container operations
The energy in the room was real. No fluff, just shared curiosity and a lot of smart people solving real problems.
Urbify’s takeaway
Events like these keep us sharp. They remind us why we build the way we do; focused on trust, precision, and technology that works in the real world. Our approach isn’t about promises. It’s about proof. And we’re proud to say that 99% delivery success is our track record, not just agoal.
Thanks to everyone who brought their ideas, questions, and energy. We’ll see you at the next one.
